The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head Setter Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in the Stourbridge area. The role offers a stable, long-term position with potential for immediate start.

You will set and operate CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head machines, read engineering drawings, use measuring equipment, and conduct quality checks to meet production targets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

CNC Sliding Head / Fixed Head Setter Operator

Stourbridge £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 Potential Immediate Start

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head Setter Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in the Stourbridge area.

Duties Include:

• Setting and operating CNC Sliding Head and/or Fixed Head machines
• Producing high-quality precision engineered components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment
• Making tool and offset adjustments when required
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC Sliding Head or Fixed Head machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently
