Job summary

Hydrasun Group Ltd. is offering hands-on Apprentice CNC Operator/Setter roles in Aviemore within our Precision Manufacturing Division. You will learn through practical experience, operating and setting up CNC machinery and loading programmes to achieve first-off quality.

Develop skills in tooling, machining strategies and digital shop-floor systems while contributing to safe, efficient production. This role supports your long-term career growth in advanced manufacturing and precision engineering.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machinery in line with industry quality and safety standards.
• Identify and load the correct CNC programmes and tooling.
• Carry out first‑off inspections and monitor accuracy during production.
• Log production activity using digital shop‑floor systems.
• Maintain safe, tidy work areas and support wider manufacturing operations.
• Monitor tool wear, make basic programme edits, and ensure all components meet specification.
