• Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery.

• Conduct detailed quality checks and measurements.
• Use PC-based production systems to monitor schedules.
• Support joinery work and assist the wider team.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace.

Are you a skilled CNC operator with a sharp eye for precision? Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Preston, is seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC machines
• Material Management: Trim, measure, and handle materials with accuracy; ensure proper stock management.
• FLT Operation: Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) - training provided for the right candidate.
• Manual Machining: Use additional machinery, including Circular and Band Saws, Sanders, Routers, and Guillotines.
• Quality Control: Perform detailed measurements and inspections to maintain product quality.
• PC-based Production Management: Use computer terminals to manage production schedules and monitor progress.
• Team Support: Provide assistance with joinery work and support the wider team when necessary.
• Housekeeping: Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.

What We're Looking For:

• Attention to Detail: Precision is key in this role, and you should be able to spot even the smallest discrepancies.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Full UK Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is required for this position.
