Job description

Job Title: CNC Machinist (Night Shift)

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with Lathe and Mill experience for night shifts in Letchworth. The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 5pm - 3am. Overtime is available and paid at x1.66.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Programming Hurco CNC lathe & Mill using Hurco MAX 5 controls
• Loading and setting machines to maximize production output
• Ensuring all jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Measuring parts to ensure they are within specifications
• Maintaining safe operations by following safety procedures
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment

Skills and Experience Required:

• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes & Mills
