CNC Operator

£14.00 p/h. NN17 1QE, Early Finish Friday! Mon-Thurs 7am-4.30pm Fri 7am-12noon, Pension, Training, Parking, Temp to perm.

Due to continued success and expansion plans, a head office location of a manufacturing site has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Operator to join them. You will provide support to the Fabrication Supervisor & Production Manager:

• Understanding production daily requirements, working to targets as a core part of the production team


• Operating pre-set CNC Laser/Plasma machinery, ensure produced product is to quality standard


• Reading from CAD/Engineering drawing, and understanding products specification, assisting management with any sketch amendments


• Interacting internally with rest of the production team, and assisting with duties where possible


• General day to day maintenance on machinery, and report any major maintenance issues immediately to minimise down time

We would expect the successful CNC Operator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of CNC Laser/Plasma machines, be able to manufacture products to a high standard. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within CNC machining, laser machine operator or a fabricator position.

You will be joining the Corby Head Office of a company that has been established for over 50 years, and has an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly with Fabrication Supervisor, this role offers variety on a daily basis.
