Job summary

Staffline is recruiting 4 CNC Operator positions for a busy precision engineering company in Bristol. The role involves operating CNC milling or turning machines, producing precision components, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work 37 hours per week on a double day shift Monday to Friday, with overtime when required. Prior experience with measuring tools and working to technical drawings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC milling or turning machines.
• Ability to use measuring tools (micrometres, gauges, verniers).
• Ideally comfortable working to technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling or turning machines.
• Run and monitor machines during production.
• Check quality of machined parts using micrometres, gauges and verniers.
• Monitor cutting conditions and troubleshoot when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines in good condition.
• Collaborate with team to optimise production processes.

We are now seeking to recruit 4 CNC machine operators to work for a busy precision engineering company based in Bristol. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for operating CNC milling or turning machines, machining precision components

Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC milling or turning machines
• Running the machines
• Checking of the quality of machined parts using micrometres, gauges, and verniers
• Monitor operations and troubleshoot cutting conditions
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes

Requirements:

• Previous experience in operating CNC milling or turning machines
• Ability to use measuring tools
• Ideally previous experience of working to technical drawings
• Flexibility to work rotating shift pattern and overtime when required
