Careermakers Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller - Programmer / Setter for a precision engineering environment in Greater Manchester. You will programme and set CNC milling centres and interpret drawings to produce high-value components to exact tolerances.

The package includes a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, a funded pension, refreshments, and overtime paid at time and a half. You’ll work with an experienced, long-tenured team.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC machinist with relevant engineering training and qualifications.
• Strong experience programming and setting CNC milling centres.
• Good understanding of materials, tooling and machining methods.

Responsibilities

• Programme and set CNC milling machining centres for low-volume, high-value component manufacture.
• Interpret engineering drawings and models to determine machining requirements.
• Apply knowledge of materials, tooling and methods to achieve accurate results.
• Produce complex precision components within tight tolerances.
