Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling Operator.
• Strong CNC programming experience (G-code, CAM or conversational).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with materials such as aluminium, steel, stainless steel and plastics.
• Competent use of measuring tools and inspection methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines (3/4/5-axis as applicable).
• Write, edit, and optimise CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
• Interpret drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Select tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Adjust programs and machine settings to improve accuracy and cycle times.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
