Job summary

WINSEARCH is seeking an experienced Drill Machine Operator/ CNC Milling Machine Operator to join our production team. The role focuses on setting and operating a milling machine, loading materials and tooling, adjusting offsets and machining components to engineering specifications.

This is not a programming role. The successful candidate will work with an XYZ SMX 4 milling machine and ProtoTRAK controller, reading drawings and maintaining quality records while adhering to health and safety in a

Qualifications

• Previous machining experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Confident with verniers, micrometers and gauges.
• Able to work to tight tolerances.
• Strong health and safety awareness in machine shop.
• Reliable, practical, quality-focused worker.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate XYZ SMX 4 milling machine.
• Use a ProtoTRAK controller as part of day-to-day operation.
• Load and secure materials, tooling and fixtures.
• Adjust tooling, machine settings and fixture offsets as required.
• Read, interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Confident using measuring equipment such as verniers
• Good understanding of health and safety within a machine shop environment.
• Experience machining stainless steel or similar engineering materials.
