Job Title: CNC Milling Operator

Type: Full-time onsite in Whetstone, Leicestershire (own transport is advisable)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Our client is seeking a candidate experienced in working on CNC machines (milling or turning) within a precision engineering environment.

Shift details: 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. On Fridays, shifts are from 06:00 - 13:00 and 13:00 - 20:00.

Due to the shift pattern and client location, a driver is preferred.

Overtime on weekends (time and a half) is available, pending workload.

Job Purpose

The role involves working in or understanding multiple departments within the fabrication area, acquiring skills, knowledge, and experience in relevant technologies and principles to work mainly independently.

Most duties are performed proactively, following standard operating procedures and work instructions.

You will participate in continuous process improvements as a team member or under the guidance of your team leader or manager.

You should consistently demonstrate high efficiency and quality in your work, minimizing scrap and rework.
