Job summary

JRS Associates have partnered with a Derby City Centre company to recruit an experienced CNC Miller - Setter, Operator, Programmer. The role offers £15.50 to £17.50 per hour, flexible shifts (7am-5pm), 39 hours per week with overtime, and a bonus, sickness, and pension schemes.

The ideal candidate will set, operate and program Fanuc CNC milling machines to tight tolerances in a subcontract tool room. Applicants with offline programming experience and Apprentice or engineering qualifications will

Qualifications

• Operate, set and program CNC Milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components to high quality and tight tolerances.
• Experience programming CNC Milling on Fanuc controls.
• Experience programming up to 3, 4 & 5 axes.
• Offline programming experience is advantageous.
• Experience in a Sub-Contract tool room is advantageous.
• Engineering qualifications are advantageous.
• Apprentice trained is advantageous.

Successful CNC Miller - Setter, Operator, Programmer - Package:

• £15.50 to £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Successful CNC Miller - Setter, Operator, Programmer - Requirements:

• To have the ability to operate, set, and program CNC Milling machines
• To have the ability to manufacture precision components to a high-quality standard and to tight tolerances
• To have had previous experience programming CNC Milling machinery on Fanuc control systems
• To have has previous experience programming CNC Milling machinery with an axis of up to and including 3, 4 & 5
• To have had previous experience using offline programming (advantage)
• To have had previous experience working in a Sub-Contract tool room (advantage)
• Relevant engineering qualifications (advantage)
• Apprentice trained (advantage)
