Job summary

Optical Precision in Ickenham, UK, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller, Setter and Operator to join its precision manufacturing team. You will work on Fanuc controls, edit programs at the machine and produce high-precision aerospace components, including one-offs and small batches.

The role requires setting and operating CNC Mills (Doosan or Haas) with Fanuc, reading drawings, and maintaining tight tolerances. Day shifts with overtime opportunities and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must have experience setting and operating CNC mills with Fanuc controls.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in high precision manufacturing preferred.

The Role of CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

The company are looking for an experienced CNC miller, setter, operator, working on Fanuc controls to join their team. The right candidate will be editing programs at the machine working to engineering drawings to provide high precision one off and small batch work components.

Duties of CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

• Set and operate CNC Doosan or Haas Mills using Fanuc controls
• Machine to tight tolerances
• One off's and small batch work
• Produce components from various aerospace & general engineering and exotic materials

Requirements of CNC Miller, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

• Must have experience setting and operating CNC Mills, ideally, Doosan or Haas Mills using Fanuc controls., however training can be given
• Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Salary and Benefits -
