Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting for a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) in Manchester. The role involves setting and operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling machines on a busy shop floor, with a view to delivering precision parts for demanding clients.

The package includes £35,000–£45,000 salary plus progression, training, bonus, overtime and shift allowance. Double day shifts and an opportunity to boost earnings through overtime are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller setting and operating 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling machines.
• Experience on high-end milling machines and precision components.

Are you a CNC Miller looking for a permanent position in a stable company, offering scope to further boost your earnings through a profit-based bonus, alongside a significant amount of optional overtime paid at a highly generous rate?

In this role you will be setting and operating a range of high-end milling machines, working on a lively and vibrant shopfloor. The machines you will be working on are 3,4 and 5 vertical axis machines.

This company have been going for over 40 years and spread their success across 4 independent workshops. Priding themselves of their exceptional clint and staff retention, working with some of the biggest manufacturers across the globe including NASA, Siemens and Boeing.

This role would suit a CNC Miller looking to further boost their earnings within one of the biggest companies in the UK.

The Role:

• Setting and Operating 3,4 and 5 Axis Milling Machines
• Work with a vibrant and cooperative team on the shop floor

• Working hours: Double day shifts: Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:00, alternative week Monday – Thursday 13:45 – 22.15 and Friday 13:00 – 18:30
