Workforce Recruitment and Training in Coventry is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a precision engineering business that specialises in close-tolerance components for automotive, motorsport, defence and oil & gas. This permanent day-shift role involves programming, setting and operating Fanuc 5-axis CNC milling machines.

You will work from drawings and CAD models, create and edit programmes, use HyperMILL offline, select tooling and feeds, and perform first-off

Formación

• 5-axis milling experience with CNC programming and setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with inspection/measurement to tight tolerances.
• Meticulous attention to detail and able to own jobs from start to finish.
• Experience working independently in a shop floor environment.

Responsabilidades

• Programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Work predominantly on Fanuc machining centres.
• Create and edit CNC programmes.
• Use HyperMILL for offline programming.
• Read from drawings, CAD models and specifications to produce components.
• Select tooling, speeds and feeds and set tools/work offsets.
• Perform first-off inspections and in-process checks.
• Produce prototype and small-batch precision parts.
• Make programme adjustments and optimise machining processes.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy and work with the engineering team to meet deadlines.
