Job summary

WF Tech is representing a highly respected precision engineering company in Northampton seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing team.

You will program, set and operate Fanuc controls on Haas milling machines and use GibbsCAM for 3, 4 and 5 axis work, reading detailed drawings on one-off and small-batch components.

The role offers £18-£20 per hour with overtime at enhanced rates, a modern workshop, and long-term stability within a friendly, dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Miller with proven experience in precision engineering.
• Confident with Fanuc controls and GibbsCAM programming.
• Able to work independently on 1-off and prototype work.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Haas milling machines using Fanuc controls and GibbsCAM.
• Working on 1-off and small batch precision components.
• Using 3, 4, and 5 axis machines including Haas equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborating with engineers and quality teams to ensure top results.

CNC Miller Programmer ? Fanuc / Gibbscam 3, 4 & 5 Axis Northampton Days based £18-£20 per hour

WF Tech are proud to be representing a highly respected precision engineering company based in Northampton, who are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their growing team.

Over their fifteen years in business, they have worked with a wide range of clients, including those in the aerospace, petrochemical, and medical sectors. They also specialise in precision engineering for the motorsport industry, having spent four years working at Silverstone and building strong relationships with some of the leading Formula 1 teams.

The Role:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC HAAS milling machines using Fanuc controls and GibbsCAM software
• Working on 1-off and small batch precision components
• Using a variety of 3, 4, and 5 axis machines / including Haas equipment
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Working closely with engineers and quality teams to ensure first-class results

The Person:

• Time-served CNC Miller with proven experience in precision engineering
• Confident with Fanuc controls and ideally GibbsCAM programming
• Able to work independently on 1-off and prototype work
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality workmanship
