Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited has a new opportunity in Hastings for an experienced CNC Programmer to lead a team of 5 machinists. You will operate 3-5 axis CNC milling machines using MasterCAM, write and edit programs and drive process improvements.

You'll join a global manufacturing group with a 4½-day week, enhanced holiday package and additional benefits. The role offers leadership development and the chance to progress within a world-class operation.

Qualifications

• CNC milling experience required.
• Knowledge of MasterCAM/Delcam programming preferred.
• Experience leading a small machining team is desirable.

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer, with a knowledge of MasterCAM software, looking for an exciting opportunity to progress into a leadership role where you'll be leading a team of 5?

The company have been established for over 7 decades and in that time have expanded into operating out of 7 world class manufacturing and logistics facilities world-wide. Operating out of a distribution hub in Sussex, they supply into the semi-conductor, healthcare, aerospace and research industries.

Day to day you will be operating CNC milling machines using 3-5 axis machines. You will be leading a team made up of 5 machinists and tasked with optimising manufacturing processes and maintaining quality.

This role would suit a CNC Programmer, that has some experience in MasterCAM, who's looking for an excellent opportunity to join a well-established global manufacturer who offer a 4-and-a-half-day work week and an enhanced holiday package.

• Performing operations on CNC milling machines
• Writing and editing CNC programs, using MasterCAM software
• Collaboration with other departments to improve processes
• Giving leadership and training to other team members
• Optimising manufacturing cost and quality

The Person

• CNC milling experience
