Thomas Brown Engineering Ltd. in Huddersfield is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team. You will program 4- and 5-axis milling machines, set and run jobs with Heidenhain/ISO/Fanuc controls, and maintain tight tolerances on high-quality components.

Formación

• Relevant experience in CNC programming, setting and operating in a sub-contract precision machining environment.
• Experience of offline or at the machine programming.
• Aptitude and desire to develop offline programming skills using CAD/CAM software.
• A team player with a can-do attitude.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistent high-quality parts.
• Experience of lean workplaces or willingness to learn lean culture.

Responsabilidades

• Programming 4 axis and 5 axis CNC milling machines.
• Setting and operating 4 axis and 5 axis CNC mills with Heidenhain/ISO/Fanuc controls.
• Working within tight tolerances.
• Completing work logs on production control software and creating tooling sheets.
• Using measuring tools to check work before QA.
• Participating in lean training and daily improvements with the team.
