Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter to join their precision engineering team in Somerset, producing high-quality components with modern CNC milling machines.

Responsibilities include programming, setting and operating CNC mills, working with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Mazatrol controls, reading engineering drawings, and striving for tight tolerances and consistent, high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Miller, Programmer or Setter.
• Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Program using Fanuc, Heidenhain and Mazatrol controls.
• Work on 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centers.
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Select tooling and optimise machining processes.
• Troubleshoot programming, machining and equipment issues.
