Job summary

Ashley & Finch Recruitment is helping a precision engineering client in Chippenham, Wiltshire recruit a CNC Miller for a permanent role. You will program, set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components from CAD models and engineering drawings.

The role requires reading drawings, maintaining tool and program records, working to tight tolerances, and performing first-off inspections. Overtime is available; benefits include a company pension, mileage allowance, uniform and PPE,

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components to CAD models and drawings.
• Work to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
• Maintain program and tooling records.
