Job summary

MTrec is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to program, set and operate CNC milling machines. The role includes working a 2-week shift pattern with 4 x 10-hour days for Mon-Thurs and 4 x 10-hour nights for Mon-Wed, plus a shift on Thursday.

The successful candidate will operate Ward Hyundai Wia and Hartford machines with Fanuc controls, reading drawings and setting up one-off jobs. You should be time-served with a machine shop apprenticeship, have experience with milling or horizontal borers, and be

Qualifications

• Time-served in machine shop is preferred.
• Experience with milling machines or horizontal borers.
• Ability to program, set and operate CNC machines.
• Good measurement skills and reading engineering drawings.

Our client are specialists in their industry, they are looking for a skilled CNC Miller who can program, set and operate.

This will be working a 2-week shift pattern, working compressed hours.

4 x 10-hour day shifts

Mon-Thurs

The Job you'll do

• Set, program, and operate.
• Ward Hyundai Wia KBN135-CL, 2m x 1.8m table.
• Travel 4m x 2m x 2m, 15 tonne table capacity.
• Fanuc CNC Control, 90° angled, orthogonal, and facing heads, B-axis table (0.001°), ATC.
• Hartford PBM135C boring and milling machine.
• 3000mm x 2000mm x 2000mm, 15 tonnes table loading.
• FANUC 31iMB CNC control system.
