A well-established client in Milton Keynes is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Hypermill Programmer. This full-time, permanent position involves programming and operating CNC Milling Machinery to manufacture precision components. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience and be apprentice trained in precision engineering. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HyperMill and have the ability to work both independently and in a team, ensuring high quality and efficiency in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience and knowledge of programming.
• Experience working in ISO9001 environment.

Our well-established client in Milton Keynes is recruiting for a CNC Miller Hypermill Programmer. They are looking for a hands-on Machinist/CAM Programmer (HyperMill/Hurco). This is a full-time permanent role based on 39 hours per week.

The Role:

• Set, programme, and operate CNC Milling Machinery to manufacture complex precision components accurately and to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings to ensure that components are machined effectively and efficiently.
• Produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.
• Use HyperMill CAD package to carry out offline programming when machining.

The Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Programmer working to tight tolerances.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of programming.
• Apprentice trained with qualifications relevant to the precision engineering industry.
• Previous experience working with HyperMill CAD Package.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; driven to develop your career path.
• Experience working in ISO9001 environment.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 5:15, Friday 8:30 – 3:00.
