Job description

The One Group is pleased to be working with a leading company in the engine manufacturing industry. Our client is seeking a CNC Setter Operator to join their components team on a permanent basis. The role involves manufacturing engine components for customers across the Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, and Marine sectors.

Following a recent contract win, the company is looking to expand its manufacturing team with skilled CNC machinists. You will be involved in producing engine components using Fanuc-controlled machines, working on a double day shift.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Setting and operating 5 Axis CNC mills with Fanuc controls
2. Manufacturing high-quality components
3. Self-inspecting finished parts
4. Proposing improvements to methods, processes, and tooling

Candidate requirements:

1. Knowledge of CNC machining processes
2. Ability to edit programs at the machine controls
3. Experience with Fanuc controls (other controls may be considered)
