Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter or Operator.
• Experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis mills.
• Strong knowledge of Mazak and Heidenhain controls.
• Background in precision engineering or high-tolerance manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines using Mazak and Heidenhain controls.
• Work across 3, 4 and 5 axis mills to produce components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out first off quality checks prior to final inspection.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.

As a CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines using Mazak and Heidenhain controls
• Work across 3, 4 and 5 axis mills to produce components to tight tolerances
• Carry out first off quality checks prior to final inspection
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
• Maintain machines and tooling to a high standard

As a CNC Miller, your experience will include:

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, Setter or Operator
• Strong working knowledge of Heidenhain controls (essential), with Mazak experience also valued
• Experience programming and setting 3, 4 and 5 axis mills
• Background in precision engineering or a similar high-tolerance manufacturing environment
• Confidence carrying out first off inspection to a consistent standard
