Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business delivering precision components across industries. You will program, set up and operate CNC mills with precision and care, and run manual mills as required.

In this role you will read technical drawings, perform precise measurements, apply strong numeracy skills, troubleshoot, and contribute ideas to improve processes, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience operating CNC mills; Hurco experience advantageous.
• Proficient in manual milling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

CNC Machinist Required!

Our client is a specialist engineering and manufacturing business supplying precision components to various industries.

Package:

• £17-£18 per hour (dependent on experience)
• 1.5x for overtime
• 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays & birthday off
• Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week & flexitime options

CNC Machinist - Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills with precision and care
• Operate manual mills as required
• Use inspection and measurement equipment to verify components
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Apply strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
• Troubleshoot and solve problems proactively
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and quality

CNC Machinist - Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience operating CNC mills (Hurco experience advantageous)
• Proficiency in manual milling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
