Job description

Maxwell Consultancy is working with a blue-chip organisation based in Glasgow that requires a CNC Miller. This is a full-time, permanent position working in their state-of-the-art workshop. The company has been growing steadily with a healthy order book. Due to expansion, there are also good opportunities for progression into senior roles. The business operates a 3-shift pattern comprising early, back, and night shifts. An excellent benefits package is on offer, including private healthcare among others.

What’s required?

• Time-served CNC machinist
• Experience in CNC machining, specifically with 4-axis horizontal or 5-axis milling
• Ability to read and interpret schematic engineering drawings
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S processes
• Ability to work well within a team and individually
• Basic machine maintenance skills
• Working knowledge of offline programming (beneficial but not essential)
• All training provided to carry out the role efficiently and effectively
