Job description

CNC Milling Setter/ Operator

Shifts:

Morning Shift; Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 18:00-04:30

Permanent
Pay rate: up to £20.00 per hour
Location: Coventry CV4

We are looking for a CNC Setter/ Operator to join our client based in Coventry CV4 on a permanent contract, on Morning & Night Shift. Our client is a recognized leader in the oil and gas industry, known for its innovation, excellence, and commitment to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and set up CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision components.
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  3. Adjust machine settings and tooling to ensure accurate production.
  4. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres, etc.).
  5. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in CNC Milling operations.
  2. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  3. Strong knowledge of machining processes and tooling.
  4. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  5. Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
