Job description

Job Role: CNC Miller

Location: Leicester

Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Metalis are currently working with a manufacturer, who are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their team.

Job Duties:

1. Set, operate and program CNC Milling machines
2. Read and work from CAD drawings
3. Meet production quality and output levels and make sure they are optimised at all times
4. Working with 3 & 5 axis machines
5. Carry out safety checks
6. Calibrate the CNC machine and read handovers and works orders

Job Requirements:

1. Time served or Apprentice trained
2. Experience setting, operating and programming CNC Milling machines
3. Good understanding of CAD/CAM (preferably Alpha CAM)
4. 2 years' experience working on 3 and 5 axis milling machines with Fanuc controls

Salary & Shift:

Up to £17 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday - Friday, 6.00am-2.00pm & 1.45pm-9.45pm (rotating weekly)
