Job summary

Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd supports a leading North West engineering firm in Chorley seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Miller. The role is permanent with a standard 37-hour week, plus overtime, and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Starting immediately, you'll work on fabrications with various materials and interpret engineering drawings to deliver conforming parts. A strong focus on health, safety and quality is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be time served with post qualification experience in a technical machining background.
• Ability to program HAAS, Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.
• Experience & understanding in machining of fabrications.
• Experience in machining 1 offs & Small batches of parts.
• Highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality is essential
• Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, understand drawing symbols and deliver conforming parts.

Job description

Our client has been established for over 35 years and now one of the North West's leading engineering, fabrication and machining companies. Looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Miller for our facility in Chorley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable CNC Programmer/Miller, who wishes to progress within a dynamic and rapidly expanding engineering firm

Permanent Role

• Hourly Rate: £17.71 - £18.21 per hour, weekly pay.
• Working Week: Standard Week: 37 hours Mon-Thurs 07:30 - 16:00 - ½ hour lunch 12:00 - 12:30; Fri 07:30 - 12:30 - No lunch break
• Overtime: Overtime rate, if available: Additional hours x 1.5
• Holidays: 25 days per annum + bank holidays
• Start date: Immediately

Essential Requirements

• Must be time served with post qualification experience in a technical machining background
