CNC Miller - Day & Night Shifts Available
Location: Chelmsford
Prime Appointments is working with a long-standing and highly respected manufacturing company based in Chelmsford, renowned for producing precision CNC-machined components for the aerospace and defence sectors. With growing demand and a busy order book, they are now looking to expand their skilled team and are seeking experienced CNC Millers for both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components
Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and CAD blueprints
Select tooling and optimise setups for one-off and small batch production
Carry out in-process quality checks to ensure components meet exacting tolerances
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure smooth and efficient operation
Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines while adhering to health and safety standards
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
Confident in programming and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc, Mazatrol or Siemens controls
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
Setter-Operators with solid experience will also be considered
