CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator

Our well-established client services the Aerospace, Defence, and Marine sectors. They are seeking an enthusiastic and driven CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator to join their growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathe machines with Fanuc controls.
• Producing turned components according to customer drawings and specifications.
• Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets drawing and SPC requirements.
• Maintaining a high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled.
• Keeping your workspace organized and clean, adhering to 5C/5S standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed (desirable).
• Proficiency with FANUC controls.
• Solid experience in the aerospace industry.
• Completed a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• High standard of engineering ability.
