Job summary

Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting a CNC Programmer Setter Operator for Mill/Turn based in Poole. The role offers a competitive £45,700 base salary with overtime after 37 hours, and a 33-day holiday package with pension and health benefits.

The successful candidate will set and run Mazak CNC Mill/Turn machines, produce parts to tight tolerances and hit production targets. Training and career progression are available in a rapidly expanding global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship completed or equivalent practical experience.
• Able to set and run CNC Mill/Turn machines using Mazak controls.
• Produce components within drawing tolerances and production targets.

Responsibilities

• Select tooling and holding devices from tool sheets.
• Set to the set-up sheets and amend as required.
• Prove out programs and conduct first off inspections.
• Maintain lean principles and OEE data sheets.
• Ensure tooling and gauging are maintained to high quality.
