Job summary

Gregory-Martin International is seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Operator to produce high-end aerospace components in Byfleet. You will set and operate CNC mills/turns, edit programs, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances while performing self-inspections.

We value time-served machinists with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, capable of interpreting engineering plans, and communicating effectively with teams and customers. Flexibility for overtime and occasional site travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Time-served machinist with hands-on CNC experience.

Our client is a successful precision aerospace company and they are currently looking for a CNC Mill / Turn Operator to manufacture high-end aerospace components using CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities for CNC Mill / Turn Operator

• Set and operate CNC mill / Turn machines
• Edit existing programs
• Machine to tight tolerances
• Carry out self-inspection and quality checks

As a CNC Mill / Turn Operator you should have/be

• Time served machinist.
• Minimum of 3 years' operational experience.
• Able to interpret work instructions/engineering planning documents, identify and use the appropriate equipment to manufacture parts to customer specification.
• A good communicator, able to build positive relationships with both colleagues and customers.
• A professional and proactive individual who takes personal responsibility for resolving problems and delivering results on time.
• Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements, which may include working overtime and travelling to other sites on occasion.
• A team player who shares knowledge and experience with colleagues and is positive and proud of doing a great job.
