Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a skilled CNC Mazak Turner to join the manufacturing team on a permanent basis. The role is a day shift with a 4-day week (37 hours, Monday-Thursday). You will operate and program MAZAC CNC lathes to produce precision components and contribute to high-quality parts across industries.

You will set up, program, read drawings, perform maintenance, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment focused on excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating MAZAC CNC lathes or similar turning machines.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools for machining tasks.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD and CAD/CAM programming.
• Basic math skills for measurements and tolerances.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Safety-conscious and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program MAZAC CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Set up and run MAZAC turning machines with precision.
• Program CNC lathes using CAD software and SolidWorks.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications for fabrication.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
• Use hand and power tools for setup and adjustments.
• Perform grinding, welding and assembly as needed.
• Apply math for measurements and tolerances.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
