Job summary

GI Group Main Account in Leamington Spa is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician to support day-to-day production in a busy machine shop environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, support CNC processes, create tool drawings, manage tool stock, and program CMM equipment, ensuring ISO9001/ISO14001 compliance.

This permanent, day-shift role offers hands-on manufacturing exposure and collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers to deliver operational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong CNC machining / process support experience.
• Quality-first mindset with a focus on safety and standards.
• Confidence to improve processes and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production operations and deliver operational goals.
• Improve machining processes using lean/continuous improvement principles.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers on daily activity and projects.
• Support CNC machining processes.
• Create tool drawings, manage cutting tool stock (min/max), order tools and maintain a tool library.
• Program CMM equipment.
