Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd in East Sussex is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for an initial 3-month rolling contract, based in East Sussex. The role focuses on CNC programming, precision machining and process improvement to support the production team.

You will optimise methods, reduce costs and waste, and ensure high-quality standards while mentoring others. Start ASAP; Outside IR35. Rate depends on experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience machining aluminium and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Write, amend and prove out CNC programs using machine controls and CAD/CAM software.
• Design bespoke workholding and fixtures using SolidWorks.
• Develop machining strategies using CAM software for milling and turning.
• Create and maintain CNC setup sheets, tooling and fixture documentation.
• Support multi-axis CNC machining, including 5-axis, 32 and multitasking machines.
• Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, quality and productivity.
• Reduce manufacturing costs, waste and cycle times.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.
