Job summary

Zebrec is pleased to present a Maintenance Engineer opportunity with a leading client in the specialist engineering sector. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machine shop and assembly line equipment, including PC, PLC and CNC controlled machines.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a machine shop, with an Apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification in engineering. Automotive or aerospace exposure is advantageous. This on-site role is based in Greater London.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years machine shop environment experience.
• Exposure within automotive/aerospace components (advantageous).
• Apprenticeship service in Engineering or a City & Guilds qualification in an Engineering related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned, preventative maintenance on a full range machine shop and assembly line equipment including PC, PLC and CNC controlled machines
• Reacting quickly to faults and breakdowns.
• Carrying out routine servicing and quality inspections on the Machine shop CNC machinery and assembly equipment including PC, PLC controlled machines
