Job summary

You will operate CNC turning machines and conventional lathes, read engineering drawings, select tooling, and produce precision components to exact specifications.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC machine tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of machining processes and tooling.
Experience with precision measuring equipment.
Attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components.
Operate conventional lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipment as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions.
Select tooling and machining methods for accurate results.
Manufacture prototype, one-off and small-batch parts to specs.
Perform dimensional inspections and first-off checks.
Maintain shop cleanliness and safety, and support continuous improvement.
