Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking a Skilled CNC Operator to join its team in Glasgow, Scotland. The successful candidate will work within a fully integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing facility to produce customized designs using various materials.

Competitive salaries range from £44,919.62 to £52,452.37 depending on shift patterns, with additional benefits including productivity bonuses, life insurance, and holiday leave. A time-served apprenticeship in machining and 5 years of CNC experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience operating CNC machine tools.
• Proven ability to hold tight machining tolerances (<0.0025 mm).
• Experience in power generation, oil & gas, aerospace or similar.

Responsibilities

• Read process sheets and blueprints to determine machining.
• Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials.
• Perform quality inspections on final components.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve productivity.
