Position Summary

This role involves setting and operating CNC machinery according to specifications. The starting salary ranges from £14.99 to £18.89 per hour, depending on experience, with a shift premium of 22% for three-shift availability and overtime paid at 1.5x or 2x depending on hours worked. Potential earnings can rise up to £20.71 per hour after training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of CNC machines including DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / 65, MAZAK E500, and others.
• Produce precision components and tooling.
• Ensure quality control throughout production.
• Accurately record production data.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting and operating CNC 3/4/5 axis milling machines, working with materials like aluminium, steel, and titanium.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol, or Siemens control systems.
• Willingness to develop further CNC skills.
• Ability to perform duties within the scope and spirit of the role, as directed by management.
