Job summary

Streamline Search is assisting a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist for UK operations. The role centers on milling precision components with careful setup and strict quality control.

You will program, set up and operate CNC mills (Hurco experience desirable), read drawings, perform measurements, and contribute to process improvements. Regular hours Mon-Fri with flexitime and overtime available for additional hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience operating CNC mills
• Proficiency in manual milling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
• Experience with CNC or manual lathes is advantageous

Responsibilities

CNC Machinist Required!

Our client is a specialist engineering and manufacturing business supplying precision components to various industries.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Milling Machinist. The successful candidate will focus on milling precision components, using greatest care and professional knowhow.

Package:

• £17-£19.50 per hour (dependent on experience)


• 5x for overtime


• 20 days' holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure


• Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week & flexitime options

CNC Machinist - Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills with precision and care


• Operate manual mills as required
