Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating CNC machinery.
• Skilled in reading engineering drawings and managing tight tolerances.
• Fanuc experience is preferred; should be adept in using measuring tools.

Full time | ASAP | Bristol | Shift pattern (Monday – Friday – 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00)

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• We are looking for passionate, adaptable, and collaborative people
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating CNC machinery
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Experience with 3-axis milling machining
• Experience creating job-specific fixturing and clamping
• Ability to edit CNC programmes as needed
• Fanuc experience and machining aluminium preferable
• Skilled in measuring tools (e.g., Vernier calipers, bore micrometers, DTI gauge)
• Preferably some experience with CAD/CAM systems and Haas and/or Mazak machines
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

YOUR TASKS:

• Selecting appropriate tooling, setting up, and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring a "Right First Time" approach and collaborating with the quality team
• Communicating equipment needs with Engineering & Quality managers
• Working on process improvement strategies with Engineering manager/CNC programmer
