Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Turner for a weekend shift in Newbury. You will program, edit and run Okuma turning machines on high-precision components, following detailed drawings and stringent quality procedures.

Join a precision engineering team with a 25% shift premium and attractive benefits. You will work Friday to Sunday, 06:00–18:30, gaining formal on‑the‑job development and guaranteed on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent turning/engineering experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of material behavior.
• Able to interpret detailed engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Programme, edit and operate Okuma turning machines
• Work from detailed engineering drawings and visualise the finished part before you cut
• Follow quality control procedures and document your work
• Package components to prevent damage in transit
