Job summary

TECHNICAL PLACEMENTS LIMITED is recruiting a CNC Machinist in South Leicester to operate CNC machines, ensuring parts meet tight specifications and quality standards. You will work a 37-hour, 3-shift pattern (morning, afternoon and night). The role offers £19 per hour including shift allowance, with overtime and a bonus potential as part of the package.

Applicants must have Right to Work in the UK. Experience in aerospace is advantageous and you will be expected to read drawings, set up machines

Qualifications

Experience in CNC milling or grinding/EDM operations.
Aerospace sector experience is advantageous.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Able to self-inspect parts with manual measuring equipment.
Experience operating machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines in line with workload requirements and quality standards.
Attain machine set up skills per company requirements.
Interpret drawings and ensure fixtures are properly aligned.
Inspect parts per quality procedures and take corrective actions as needed.
Operate CMM to support inspection requirements.
Meet production, quality and housekeeping targets as directed by the Cell Manager.
Follow company policies including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety.
