Job summary

Yamazaki Mazak in Worcester is seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join the Large Castings Machining Department. The role involves programming, setting and operating Mazak 4- and 5-axis machines to produce highly toleranced components for machine tools.

The successful candidate will have solid CNC setting/operating experience, enjoy teamwork in a busy manufacturing environment, and work night shifts Sunday to Thursday with a generous salary including a 33% shift premium.

Qualifications

• Solid experience of setting and operating CNC machining centres.
• Experience using CNC controls safely and effectively.
• Previous experience working within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Desirable: programming directly from engineering drawings using Mazatrol controls.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating Mazak 4 and 5 Axis machining centres.

CNC Setter/Operator – Worcester

£27,481 – £37,823 including + 33% shift premium (£36,550 - £50,304)

Nights – Sunday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading machine tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Essential Criteria
