Job summary

Acorn By Synergie, on behalf of a respected local engineering business, is seeking a CNC Operator/Setter for a straight Day Shift. The role requires CNC lathe/mill experience and proficiency with Fanuc or similar controls.

You will work on Doosan, Hurco, XYZ machinery, and perform quality checks with Vernier calipers and micrometers, joining a family business that values people and offers generous holiday and pension benefits.

Acorn By Synergie are working with a respected and flexible local Engineering business in search of a CNC Machine Operator / Setter for a straight Day Shift position.

Essential Experience Required

• CNC Lathe or Mill experience is non-negotiable. Welcoming application from all CNC Machinists of this ilk.
• Experience with any of the following is highly desirable - Doosan, Hurco or XYZ machinery / Fanuc machine controls.
• Quality Inspection know how.
• Measuring experience (use of Verniers, Micrometres, etc.)
• Dependable and professional.
