Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in the Thetford, Norfolk area to join a growing engineering firm that is experiencing increased demand for its services.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in CNC Milling or Turning. However, candidates with the right aptitude and willingness to learn will also be considered, with opportunities for further training and upskilling.

Experience with Mazatrol, Mazak, or Fanuc controls is preferred. Training on other programmes will be provided if you are competent in one of these.

Duties of the CNC Machinist:

• Setting and operating CNC Mills and Lathes
• Performing basic maintenance on machinery and reporting faults to supervisors
• Working with Mazatrol, Mazak, or Fanuc programmes
• Assisting with fabrication duties, including hand and power tool usage
• Manual machine operation as required
• Working hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 15:30 Friday
• Salary is competitive and dependent on experience
• This is a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate
