Job summary

AMRC Manufacturing Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a diligent production operator to manufacture components following the production pack, ensure quality documentation, and progress work to schedule.

You will use micrometres, calipers, dial indicators and gauges to verify conformance, report issues, support NPI activities, and comply with OHSM, EMS, and environmental policies. Training in EHS will be provided and a culture of continuous safety improvement is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Manufacture components in line with the production pack.
• Ensure all production documentation adheres to the relevant quality standard.
• Progress manufacturing in line with production schedule.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) within a production pack.
• Confirm conformance of finished work to specifications.
• Use measuring tools (micrometres, calipers, dial indicators, gauges) to verify results.
• Identify and report known or potential problems and assist with corrective actions.
• Engage with OHSM & EMS processes and comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Participate in EHS training and safety initiatives, and contribute to sustainability improvements.

• Identify and report any known or potential problems and to recommend solutions to aid subsequent risk management and corrective action activities.
• All workers and contractors are encouraged to participate and engage with OHSM & EMS, processes.
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and legal obligations, including those relevant to CNC machining and high-reliability manufacturing.
• Participate in mandatory EHS training, emergency response drills, and company health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in safety and sustainability, including contributing ideas for reducing risk, waste, and environmental impact. Demonstrate environmental awareness by following procedures for responsible use of materials, recycling, and energy conservation
