Job summary

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING (SHEFFIELD) LIMITED is seeking a production operative to manufacture components according to production packs and to ensure all documentation aligns with quality standards. The role progresses work in line with the schedule and supports new product introductions, while verifying finished goods meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture components utilising instructions within a production pack.
• Ensure all production documentation adheres to the relevant quality standard.
• Progress manufacturing in line with production schedule.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) within a production pack.
• Confirm conformance of finished work to specifications.
• Use tools such as micrometres, calipers, dial indicators and gauges.
• Identify and report any known or potential problems and to recommend solutions to aid subsequent risk management and corrective action activities.
• All workers and contractors are encouraged to participate and engage with OHSM & EMS, processes.
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and legal obligations, including those relevant to CNC machining and high-reliability manufacturing.
• Participate in mandatory EHS training, emergency response drills, and company health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement in safety and sustainability, including contributing ideas for reducing risk, waste, and environmental impact. Demonstrate environmental awareness by following procedures for responsible use of materials, recycling, and energy conservation
