The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team. You will operate CNC machines to produce precision parts, contributing to the delivery of high-quality components for specialist sectors.
Key Duties:
Operating and setting up CNC machines (mills/lathes)
Working from detailed engineering drawings
Conducting in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment
Performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist in a production or engineering environment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable:
Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
Experience operating CNC and manual lathes
Familiarity with stainless steel, aluminium, and nickel alloys
Background in regulated industries such as nuclear or pharmaceutical
