Job Title: CNC Machinist (Turner)

Location: Hull

Salary and Benefits: £31,000-£35,500 + Pension + Life Assurance + Bonus + Overtime + Medical Cover + 25 days holidays and stats

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Setup and Programming: Interpret engineering drawings, select fixtures, tools, and attachments, and write or modify CNC programs.
2. Turning Operations: Adjust machine settings to ensure precision, monitor processes, and resolve issues promptly.
3. Quality Control: Inspect components for accuracy and consistency to meet quality standards.
4. Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance like lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacements.
5. Health & Safety: Follow safety guidelines, report hazards, and wear PPE.

Skills and Experience

• Must have completed a Mechanical Engineering or CNC-specific apprenticeship.
• Experience operating CNC turning machines.

Additional Salary and Benefits Details

• Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts.
• Salary: Up to £35,460 including shift allowance.
